Policies, Terms and Conditions
Upon submitting your payment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please reach out to The Cactus Cookery PRIOR to submitting your payment if you do not agree with any/ all of the following or if you have any questions regarding the policies and procedures as outlined below.
PAYMENT POLICY: Unless otherwise specified, 50% payment is due at the time of order to secure your date. The other 50% will be due one week prior to due date. If the remaining balance is not received one week prior to due date, cookies will NOT be started and you will forfeit deposit.
PICKUP POLICY: Pickup will be at the agreed upon day and time at The Cactus Cookery in Sparks, NV (address will be provided upon ordering). Please arrive no later than 15 minutes after your scheduled time for pickup. Should something arise that prevents you from picking up at the agreed upon time, please let The Cactus Cookery know so other arrangements can be made. Any order that has not been collected within 15 minutes of the agreed upon time will be left outside, regardless of weather. Orders that have not been collected within 8 hours of the agreed upon pickup time may be re-sold at the discretion of The Cactus Cookery. No refund will be issued for orders that are not collected at the agreed upon time.
DAMAGE AFTER PICKUP: Once you leave the premises of The Cactus Cookery with the product, you are accepting the product as is. The Cactus Cookery is not responsible for any damage that may occur after you leave the premises.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made with more than 14 days notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations made with 7-13 days notice forfeit 50% deposit as time was already dedicated to designing the order specific to you as well as covers any costs associated with preparing for order (ie. cookie cutter purchases, specific colors, etc). Cancellations made within a week forfeit all payment. Should an emergency occur on the part of The Cactus Cookery in which your order cannot be completed you will be refunded in full any payment or deposit made. The Cactus Cookery will notify you as soon as possible should this occur.
ALLERGY WARNING: While The Cactus Cookery follows all applicable guidelines for avoiding cross-contamination in the kitchen, The Cactus Cookery cannot guarantee that your order will not come into contact with common kitchen allergens which may include but are not limited to: eggs, nuts, soy, peanuts, milk, wheat, fish, and/or shellfish. Please notify The Cactus Cookery of all allergies before submitting payment for your order so that we may discuss whether or not your allergy needs can be accommodated. You are responsible for notifying all consumers of your order (all people at a party, for example) the potential for all products to contain common allergens. The Cactus Cookery is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur. As a home bakery, The Cactus Cookery products and kitchen is not subject to local health department inspection.
